Those bombs were the worst terrorist attack in human history. The ends do not justify the means.
You seem to confuse victims and victimisers. Remember, those who are kind to the wicked will, in the end, be wicked to the kind.
The Japanese had brought the war on the US, not the other way around. The Japanese had committed unspeakable attrocities in China.
No the ends do not justify the means. But that was not the point. When you are in a war like WWII there is no second place.
